Multi-talented Nashville hip-hop artist (and good friend of the band) Young Hirsch has featured The Superficials on his latest album True Rhythm and Poetry, released on the One Way Out label. His music is positive and profound. “Count on Me” from Berry Hill Bungalow has been reworked on track 18. You can listen to it at http://payplayfm/younghirsch or visit his myspace: www.myspace.com/younghirsch
No commentsTHE SUPERFICIALS AT SEATTLE HEMPFEST!!!
You heard it right, The Superficials have been selected to perform at Hempfest 2008! The weekend-long, free festival takes place August 16-17th in Myrtle Edwards Park on the beautiful Seattle waterfront. This is a massive event, with tens of thousands of people in attendance. The band takes the Seely Stage (the 2nd largest of 5) at 3:00pm on Sunday, August 17th, which is, coincidentally, Paul Johnson’s birthday. The boys are totally excited about this opportunity, and are looking forward to visiting their “Seattle family” once again! For more info about the event (and the cause), go to www.hempfest.org

If you haven’t heard of Graham Central Station’s Battle of the Bands, you should… because the Superficials joined in last week at the last minute… and won! They’ll be performing in the semi-finals on June 26th. Come on out and cheer the Superficials on to victory!
